The
House on the hill
There's a house
that stands on the hill.
It stood there for years and it stands there still.
The steeples rise to peaks so high,
In silhouette against the moonlit sky.
It glows a haunting, eerie sight
Upon all things within the night.
Shadows loom on stone cracked walls.
Dusty rooms and cobwebbed halls.
Musty smells from from the dusty floors.
Ghostly sounds and squeaky doors -
Black cats roam the window ledge:
Shivering, Shaking, Silence breaking;
Piercing screams of doom,
Penetrate the dungeon rooms.
The sounds of ghouls that dwell inside,
Are heard from places where they hide.
No one has dared entered for many a spell,
This house where ghost and goblins dwell.
It stands to haunt with mystic chill,
That house that stands upon the hill!

Happy
Halloween
As
jack-o-lanterns light the night
And Autumn breezes blow,
As
golden leaves swirl 'round about
And tree limbs bow down low,
As
October waves one last goodbye
Before it leaves the scene,
This
comes especially to wish you a Happy Halloween!
